My cameras and lenses are Nikon and I have now moved into the digital age. I still have my first Nikon body, an FTN now more than 30 years old. Currently, I use a D100 and Jean uses either my F4 (film) or a Coolpix P2 (digital). My favorite Nikon lens are a 28 - 200 mm and an 18 - 35 mm wide angle. With my digital capture, I am actively involved in Photoshop for processing. Printing is done on an Epson Stylus Photo 2200. In my "previous" life, I used Fuji Velvia and Provia or Kodak E100VS color slide film. Even then, I scanned many of my slides so that I could work with them in a digital format.
Some of the photographs on this website are from digital scans of 35 mm slides or negatives, while the newer ones are a result of digital capture and processing. These digital images are capable of producing high quality prints, at least as large as 11 x 14 in. With more recent technology, I have obtained scans that permit printing up to approximately 16 x 20 in. I generally use Epson "Premium Luster" paper, a high-quality paper designed to produce long-lasting prints.
I do my own mat cutting, photograph mounting and frame assembly. If you prefer to select your own frames, I'd be happy to make some recommendations. I do not dry mount the prints, I "hang" them onto the mat using archival mounting tape in a way that would permit you to re-mount or re-frame the prints at some time in the future, if you wish.
